Choosing a Dog

Whether family pet or personal companion, you can use our services to choose the right dog for you.
Choosing a Dog

We have knowledge and experience of dog breeds, advice on lifestyle, exercise, nutrition, vaccinations and medical care.

We will help you find the right dog, of the right size, level of care, personality and all round suitability.

Or provide us with information on a dog you have found and we will give our advice more personally.

Once your new dog is home, we offer continual advice on settling in, or any aspect of health care, welfare and behaviour throughout your dog’s life.

Our dog health and behaviour experts remain on hand to offer guidance on general health issues, welfare, disease prevention, behavioural problems, and much more.

Let us help you choose your new companion wisely and responsibly. Give yourself and your dog the best chance at a happy life together.

Please register for free, or logon if you are already registered, and then contact us to see how we can help.

A puppy should be at least eight or nine weeks old, preferably 12, before it is taken away from its home and mother. At this time it will have been weaned and eating regular food. If a prepared food was used at the kennel, the same diet should be maintained and new food introduced slowly.
